We are located on the upper campus of the University of Utah between the L.S. Skaggs Pharmacy building and the Biomedical Polymers Research Building, with a walkway connected to the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library.

How do I drive there?

From First South

• Travel east on First South to the University of Utah campus
• First South becomes North Campus Drive
• Travel uphill on North Campus Drive, then turn right onto Mario Capecchi Drive
• Travel south along Mario Capecchi Drive; turn left at the traffic light onto Medical Drive South
• Continue east uphill; take the right fork to stay onto Medical Drive South
• While on Medical Drive South, EHSEB will be on the left side.

From Fourth South

• Travel east on Fourth South to the University of Utah Campus. Once on campus, this road becomes South Campus Drive.
• Travel east pass the Huntsman Center (approximately 1820 East)
• At the traffic light, turn left onto Mario Capecchi Drive
• Just before the next traffic light bear to the right onto Medical Drive South
• Continue east uphill; take the right fork to stay onto Medical Drive South
• While on Medical Drive South, EHSEB will be on the left side.

From Foothill Drive

• Travel north along Foothill Drive past Research Park
• Turn right onto Mario Capecchi Drive
• Just before the second traffic light bear to the right onto Medical Drive South
• Continue east uphill; take the right fork to stay onto Medical Drive South
• While on Medical Drive South, EHSEB will be on the left side.

Parking Information and Maps

Visitor Parking (paid):
Lot 70, very limited spaces, south of EHSEB
Parking garage east of EHSEB

Student Parking, look for signs:
“U” lots
“A” lots after 3:00 pm

Can I get there by Trax or shuttle?

The EHSEB is serviced by the Red, Blue, Yellow and Black University Shuttle lines, which are free for anyone on campus. In addition, numerous Utah Transit Authority (UTA) public transit routes, including Trax, can get you to campus easily and efficiently while avoiding the hassles of traffic and parking. Check with UTA for more information.

FeedU Pantry

The University of Utah food pantry aims to minimize hunger among our students, their families, and faculty and staff by providing free, accessible, and nutritious food.

EHSEB satellite Feed U Pantry is located in the Stensaas Lounge of EHSEB. It is open during regular building hours. For students needing UCard access, please contact:

How do I reserve a room or hall for use, schedule an event?

For credit Health Sciences Center classes are given scheduling priority in the Health Sciences Education Building. All classes are entered into the University’s scheduling system, which can be viewed at the Scheduling Office website.

The School of Medicine, College of Nursing and the College of Pharmacy room scheduling staff enter class requests into the system. Email confirmation is provided for classes included in the schedule.

The Clinical Staff Education Office in the University Hospital schedules the classroom space in the Clinical Staff Education area: Suite 1100, rooms 1120, 1130, 1140.
